Empowering Journeys

to recovery and hope

At Hope in the Valley, we believe in the power of recovery and the resilience of the human spirit. Our mission is to provide individuals with the tools, support, and encouragement they need to overcome addiction and embrace a healthier, more fulfilling life. Located in the heart of the San Luis Valley, we offer a comprehensive range of services that address every stage of the recovery journey.

Whether you need safe detox, flexible outpatient care, or support through telehealth services, Hope in the Valley is here to guide you every step of the way. Our programs are rooted in compassion, tailored to your unique needs, and designed to foster lasting recovery.

3.7 Level Detox Program

Safe and Supervised Detoxification

Detoxing from alcohol or drugs can be one of the most challenging steps in recovery. Without proper medical supervision, withdrawal symptoms can be uncomfortable—and sometimes dangerous. That’s why our ASAM Level 3.7 Clinically Managed Residential Withdrawal Program is a cornerstone of our care.

Our program provides 24/7 monitoring and support, ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the detox process. We focus not just on getting you through withdrawal but also on preparing you for the next stages of recovery. Detox is the first step toward a healthier future, and at Hope in the Valley, we’re here to help you take it with confidence.

Outpatient Programs (IOP)

Flexible Treatment for Sustainable Recovery

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to provide comprehensive care while allowing you to maintain daily responsibilities. Offered in partnership with CAST Alamosa, this program includes:

  • Individual Counseling tailored to your personal journey
  • Family Support to strengthen relationships and foster understanding
  • Group Therapy to connect with others who understand your challenges
  • Relapse Prevention strategies to build resilience and confidence

Whether you’re transitioning from a residential program or starting your recovery in an outpatient setting, our structured IOP gives you the support you need to rebuild your life.

Telehealth Services

Care That Comes to You

Not everyone has the ability to attend in-person treatment, and that’s where our telehealth services make a difference. For patients across Colorado, our HIPAA-compliant virtual programs offer the same level of care and professionalism you’d find at our center, all from the comfort of your home.

Our telehealth services include:

  • Individual Therapy to address the personal challenges of addiction recovery
  • Group Counseling to foster connection and peer support
  • Life Coaching to help you navigate the road ahead with purpose

Whether you’re managing a busy schedule, living in a remote area, or facing other barriers to in-person treatment, our telehealth options ensure you never have to go without the help you need. At Hope in the Valley, remote care is here to bring hope to every corner of Colorado.

Community Integration

Building Strength Through Connection

At Hope in the Valley, we know that recovery doesn’t happen in isolation. Our community recovery meetings, held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, create a space where individuals can find understanding, share their stories, and gain the support of peers.

These gatherings are more than meetings—they’re opportunities to reconnect with yourself and others in a non-judgmental environment. Our community-focused approach helps participants build meaningful relationships, discover new perspectives, and find strength in shared experiences.

Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)

Intensive Care with Flexibility

For those needing structured, higher-level support, our Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) provide a comprehensive treatment plan without the constraints of inpatient care. Our PHP bridges the gap between intensive treatment and independent living, giving you the best of both worlds.

Key Features:

  • Customized day programs tailored to your lifestyle
  • A focus on personal growth, relapse prevention, and mental wellness
  • Professional guidance from a dedicated team of recovery experts

Our PHP is ideal for individuals who need a structured environment to make meaningful progress in their recovery while maintaining the ability to manage work, family, or other responsibilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the process for securing admission to inpatient treatment?

Contact our Admissions Team at any hour, any day, to initiate the admissions process with a local Specialist. The Admissions team will conduct a confidential assessment to ascertain the suitable level of care and collaborate with you on a treatment referral. Your specialist will also coordinate with you to arrange the scheduling of your admission at Hope In The Valley.

What is the duration of the treatment period for me?

Each individual’s unique needs guide the customization of their treatment. A comprehensive clinical assessment and medical evaluation dictate the duration of the recommended treatment. Viewing treatment as a continuum of care is beneficial. The initial stage involves detoxification, typically lasting a few days. Subsequently, the IOP/or PHP stage follows. The third stage, continuing care, extends for as long as required based on your recovery plan.

What steps should I take once I finish the treatment?

Following the treatment journey, Hope In The Valley offers continuous support, equipping you with essential tools and proven strategies to flourish in your recovery. It is strongly advised by Hope In The Valley to actively participate in our 12 Step program upon completing the treatment for sustained engagement in your recovery journey.

How can I communicate with my employer regarding my requirement for treatment?

While federal law doesn’t mandate disclosure of the specifics about your treatment needs to your employer, state laws might necessitate specific forms of communication. It’s crucial to determine if your employer offers a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which is designed to assist employees seeking treatment for addiction.

Can family members visit me while I am undergoing treatment?

Incorporating family into the treatment process enhances the likelihood of achieving a successful and enduring recovery. We strongly advocate for family involvement in the treatment. Please contact us to inquire about specific visitation policies, as they may vary.
